The CDC MC Router provides routing performance for MegaCOMMS network. This 2U unit with 12 pairs of MegaCOMMS interfaces can connect up to 4 MegaCOMMS mixing consoles with gain compensation, allowing 8 MegaCOMMS units to be connected on the same audio network. It can be used to extend the number of channels of the audio network up to 3072.

The CDC MC Router PC software allows end users to design their own routing drawings through a simple graphical interface to build a powerful MegaCOMMS network quickly and easily. The router automatically discovers connected MegaCOMMS devices and the software's graphical user interface displays the features and firmware versions of the connected devices.

The router can also control gain compensation between mixing consoles, automatically compensating for gain changes caused by adjustments of the main console on other consoles in the same network, without affecting the sound quality.
