High-quality mic amplifier
The S-type mic amplifier provides a 60dB gain and a 20dB Pad for line input. The input gain includes invert and 48V phantom power supply. The input gain level is displayed on the 12-segment LED level meter, located within the field of vision near the 100mm fader, and operation control can be quickly completed.
Monitor
The S-type has rich monitor settings. Monitoring can be done through power amplifiers/speakers or headphones, both of which have their own level controls for convenient and comfortable monitoring. It can also be directly monitored through a dual channel LED level meter. Flexible PFL monitoring can be maintained on multiple channels, and then press the button to clear the selection.
Groups and pan
Diversified input channel selection, reinforced groups, optional dedicated stereo bus routing, and pan adjustable signal bus.
EQ and VCA groups allocation
The allocation of multifunctional keys is versatile. As required, EQ can be bypassed or switched in the signal path and can be selected as PRE insertion. In addition, the S-type is also equipped with a fixed frequency high pass filter. Flexible allocation devices allow each input channel to be grouped into one or more DC (VCA) total volume faders as required. If required, the VCA main control can also be configured to a muted group.
Matrix output with 8 matrix sends
In addition to independent PFL and mute selection, it also provides switchable insertion. Group outputs can be mixed to 8 matrix outputs, and 4 double coaxial level transmitter Potentiometers are used. In addition, the stereo master output can be remixed to all matrix outputs as left and right pairs or mixed mono channels.
Power supply
The 2U external power supply is connected to a 6-pole military circular bayonet connector through a shielded multi-core cable. Each Mixing console can obtain power from two independent power supply systems, and the redundant backup power supply can ensure the continuous and uninterrupted operation of the mixing console.
Mono and stereo aux outputs
Both mono and stereo auxes have output master and can be combined into a maximum of 6 mono aux masters and 2 stereo aux masters for each mixing console. Each aux output master has its full-range level meter, with all output levels clear at a glance, plus output level control, mute, and PFL selection.
In addition to groups, the S-type has a dedicated stereo master output and its fader. This provides more flexibility, and the stereo output can also be output to the left and right pairs or mixed mono channels. If necessary, this send can be selected as a pre-fader.
Rack
For the design of S-type, flexibility is the core issue. Through optional bus connectors, multiple racks can be easily and quickly connected into a large platform. Users can mix and pair S-type modules and place them in racks to adapt to existing requirements and achieve complete configuration control.
The S-type design allows multiple racks to coexist, so that the modules are basically adjacent. The internal audio bus is balanced and uses ribbon cables. All power buses are also routed through ribbon cables. The upper rack input includes a diode hybrid power input port, ground point, headphone plug, bus expansion connector, main stereo output XLR, main stereo insertion point plug, and gooseneck light XLR. Multiple cooling fans are also installed in the rack.
The rack consists of four sizes: 17, 25, 33, and 41 modules, which can be equipped as standard with 8, 12, 20, and 28 mic inputs, with 4 stereos, 4 or 8 groups/VCA groups, and a stereo master/intercom/oscillation generator/communication module selection. Any combination of these modules is adaptive. The only limitation is that 8 output groups and 1 oscillation generator/communication module are the maximum capacity. A system contains multiple racks, and each module can be placed anywhere on the mixing console rack to handle various applications.
