CDC 6 and CDC 8 touring Italy with Francesco De Gregori

The Cadac CDC6 was used as the FOH mixer for Italian singer-songwriter Francesco de Gregori's latest tour. A 16-way CDC 8 was also used as a listening station during the tour. The tour also designated a CDC MC router, also the core of the megacomms network, connecting the dial station to CDC I/O 6448. A CDC MC MADI is connected to the network through a router and is used to provide audio recordings on a MADi-enabled device.

Multi-award winning Francesco De Gregori began his recording career in 1972 and has produced 38 albums. In Italy he is known as the Prince of singer-songwriters, a nickname for his subtle lyrics. Bob Dylan called him "the hero of Italian folk music".

For its tour of Italy on the 20th, CADAC's general agent in Italy, Audio Network Technology Srl, provided support.

CDC 6 Fill the stadium with "feel.

The CDC 6 was designated in April for the first stadium tour of the Feeling Band in the UK. The Brit Award-nominated British rockers had previously used the stand on a warm-up tour, loved it, and wanted to use it on their main UK tour (as a guest on music legend Jeff Lynne's ELO album).

Jon Sword, the band's lead tuner, was also listening in on the main pitch during the warm-up tour. Sword liked the intuitive interface of the platform, describing it as having "the most user-friendly interface of all the digital platforms."

Sword, who did FOH tuning for the band on the stadium tour, marveled at the CDC6's outstanding sound quality: "It brings the sound to life; It is crisp and delicate at high frequencies, deep and rich at low frequencies, and very natural. When you push it up, you can even feel the weight of the sound being injected into it. No other digital station can do that."

Sword also used the CDC 6 in many of the band's events on tour to promote their new album. The small footprint and light weight of the stage means it is very easy to get in and out of the venue, especially when used with the CDC I/O 3216 stage box. In the stadium, CDC I/O 6448 is used as the main stage box.

Sword concluded that "the band appreciated the sound, they absolutely fell in love with it, it was great."

The Feelings are a five-piece band from the southeast of England who recently released their fifth album, Feelings. They have been nominated for or won many prestigious awards, including an Ivor Novello Music Award for composers in 2007.

In April Cadac participated in a very successful 2016 Professional Light and Sound Exhibition in Frankfurt, Germany. This year, organizers have made a big change to the structure of the fair, with the Musical Instruments show being held two days after the professional light and sound show, which starts a day earlier (Thursday through Friday). The exhibition time has also been changed, starting at 10 am and closing at 7 PM. Cadac also moved its booth from 8.0 to 3.1.

The booth was packed with dealers, potential dealers, media, end users and individuals who are very passionate about Cadac products.

The show saw the introduction of CDC Mixer software version 3.01, running on both CDC 6 and 8 in the booth. Features a number of enhancements, including a custom fader page for CDC 6 that can be composed of any input, bus, VCA, and listener combination, as well as user balancing, dynamic, and effects libraries.

The CDC MC AES3 stage box and the CDC MC Light Bridge were released at the show, with one each as exhibit, energized and displayed.

The CDC MC optical bridge allows MegaCOMMS to be sent up to two kilometers away using fiber optics. Each machine has four pairs of MegaCOMM ports and four optical LC ports that allow 512 audio channels to be emitted on each machine.

The CDC MC AES3 Remote Stage box has 18 AES3 digital inputs/outputs, providing a total of 36 audio inputs/outputs on both the computer input and the Caron connector

Also on display at the booth was the CDC MC routing software, which allows end users to create customized routing paths for routes. Offline editing software development for CDC 6 and 8 was also released as a working trial version of the software for individuals to demo try.

Cadac also held a well-attended media event on the first day of the show, where all the new products were introduced to the public and media, and HILLS was announced as the new distributor of Cadac in Australia。

It is reported that about 110,000 people attended the 2016 Light, Sound and Musical Instruments Exhibition.
