As a standard venue with international event hosting capabilities, Ningbo Tennis Center can accommodate nearly 4000 spectators to watch matches together. In the context of the increasing integration of sports events and cultural performances, how to ensure that every audience on site can experience clear, powerful, and detailed sound has become a key challenge for upgrading the venue's sound reinforcement system.
Creating an immersive auditory experience
The core of this sound reinforcement system adopts CADAC's CP32 immersive sound processor. The top speakers of the venue adopt a design of internal and external mirror installation, which not only increases the coverage range of the sound field, but also brings about the problem of sound interference between speakers. Therefore, using the immersive sound HOA algorithm for decoherence processing not only solves the problem of sound interference and comb filtering, but also improves the clarity of the sound amplification listening experience. After immersive sound processing, the sound between each set of speakers is overlaid, and the coverage part is also well integrated, increasing the uniformity of sound coverage throughout the entire audience seat.
Considering that the interior of the venue building is constructed with metal splice plates, in order to reduce strong reflections from more sound sources, two different forms of speakers were used in the design of the audio system: the Yinwang L15F (waterproof) passive two-way speaker and the Yinwang CY12 two-way immersive coaxial speaker.
Precise control of IoT central control
The CT02 Internet of Things edge computing host independently developed by Yinwang is the "smart brain" of the whole system. It can professionally centralize the control of various equipment such as sound, light, electricity, video, and communication on site, greatly simplifying the operation process.
