When digital technology is deeply integrated into stage art, the audience's aesthetic experience is being completely reshaped. As a national cultural landmark, the National Centre for the Performing Arts has always been at the forefront of the integration of art and technology. With a total construction area of 217500 square meters, it houses four major theaters: an opera house, a concert hall, a theater, and a small theater, as well as supporting facilities. In this art palace, the immersive sound system of the well-known British brand CADAC has settled here.
The system core adopts CADAC CP32 immersive sound processor, based on FPGA core technology, integrating various algorithms such as HOA, WFS, VBAP, etc., which can render various audio formats such as mono, stereo, 5.1, 7.1 into immersive sound 3D sound effects, truly achieving a qualitative leap from "audible" to "visible" sound. In the design of the system link, a dual backup transmission scheme of parallel digital and analog signals was adopted, greatly improving the security and stability of the performance, and safeguarding the national stage.
In addition, the site is equipped with the Sound King FCL04L two-way passive coaxial speaker (left), whose coaxial driving technology effectively avoids sound interference, significantly improves sound clarity, precise sound image localization, and uniform sound field coverage. The low frequency adopts ultra long magnetic circuit design technology, and the high frequency uses PEEK composite material sound film, combined with high-quality clamp box, to ensure stable and reliable operation under high dynamic conditions, and pure sound. In addition, the system is also equipped with the Sound King GL206SA single 15 "active line array ultra-low frequency speaker (right), further enhancing low-frequency performance.
The successful application of the CADAC immersive sound system in the National Centre for the Performing Arts in the UK is not only a product upgrade, but also a deep innovation in the way art is presented and the audience's audio-visual experience. It expands the expression dimensions of the stage space with precise and emotional voice language, allowing every note and every line to be "seen" and perceived. In the future, CADAC will continue to deepen its research and cooperation in the field of immersive sound, bringing audiences a more immersive and stunning audio-visual feast.
